good steward firm

Finally, the last example of a purposeful, good steward estate plan is displayed by Jesus’s last act on earth. As Jesus was carrying the cross to his death, the bible says: John 19:26 – When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, eh said to his mother, ‘woman behold, your son!’ The he said to the disciple, ‘Behold, your mother!’ And from that hour the disciple took her to his own home.

The last act by Jesus was to take care of and provide for his mother. This is a representation of our responsibility on earth. It is our duty to take care of our family and those who depend on us.

From a parent’s perspective, it is even greater. 2 Corinthians 12:14 – … For children are not obligated to save up for their parents, but parents for their children. As parents, it is an obligation to provide for our children. At the bare minimum, it is a parent’s duty to not burden their children financially. As an estate planner, it is my job to create, show, and provide tools to clients to give them this ability. L Jennings Law is created to be a tool to enable families to be good stewards of wealth.
